the research project Governance in Emerging Economies offers 4 PhD positions in Germany starting on 1st January 2016, for a fixed term of 3 years.
Aim of the research project
The research project investigates the potential of state governance in promoting economic development. The aim of the project is to study the institutional and administrative foundations and policy instruments of state-led economic policy approaches in emerging economies. The project encompasses the post-Soviet region with particular focus on Georgia and Kazakhstan.
Who can apply
All graduates from economics, political sciences and related fields are invited to apply. Candidates from Central Asia and the Southern Caucasus are particularly encouraged to apply.
