CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Junior Public Officers (JPO) Programme for the OSCE Academy’s Graduates – Internships at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs
The OSCE Academy in Bishkek announces a call for applications for a Junior Public Officers (JPO) Programme for the OSCE Academy’s Graduates from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan to intern at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the country of their respective citizenship. The internship period will start in October 2015 and last for three months. The OSCE Academy covers expenses related to the internship, including travel and living costs of the candidates.
This JPO Programme is being implemented in accordance with the Agreements signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of 10 September 2010, the Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic as of 27 January 2011 (re-signed on 25 June 2013), the Ministry of the Republic of Tajikistan as of 15 June 2011 and the Ministry of the Republic of Afghanistan as of 28 May 2012.
Eligibility criteria:
-Graduation from the OSCE Academy in Bishkek (students of the 2014-2015 MA classes are also eligible);
-Citizenship of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan or Afghanistan;
-Strong motivation and relevance of future career plans.
Application process:
Curriculum Vitae and a letter of motivation in Russian/English (up to 500 words maximum) should be submitted in ONE electronic file to the address: alumni@osce-academy.net or in a sealed envelop to the OSCE Academy: 1A Botanichesky per. Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan not later than 10 June 2015.
Documents by fax are not accepted. Applications that come after the deadline will not be considered.
